I write poetry, novels, how-to books and workshops on a variety of topics. Gardening was a hobby; I liked to grow vegetables, flowers and herbs all together for greater diversity, health and interest (no straight and narrow rows for me, thanks!) I have a certificate in fundamentals of Permaculture Design. Don't garden anymore due to Fibromyalgia, but I still like planning them and enjoy looking at beautiful plants and landscapes. My friend Lara and I had a business called Wild Design. We made unique jewelry utilizing the energies of the stones, creating designs with specific intent. We then wrote a short evocative story to match the design series, an affirmation, and in most cases, an aromatherapy body lotion, body mist, fragrance rollon, and bathsalt to match. And botanical incense. We went to fairs and festivals to sell our wares. Lara is still doing the business. I quit doing it in April of 2008 because even the stress of sitting in one spot for 8 hours caused muscle strain and spasms. I like to lead workshops at fairs (which is weird because I generally don't like public speaking.) I belly danced for friends and family at my 50th birthday party after teaching a six week class at a local community center. I did it because I wanted to show you don't have to be skinny or even healthy to dance a little. I'm a Wiccan Priestess, federally ordained, and legally can conduct marriages in the state of Ohio. I've been reading Tarot since i was 15, (you do the math, see interests below) and also read Gemstones - my own system, and Elder Futhark Runes. My husband Ed and I like to travel and have fallen in love with Northern New Mexico.
